Visit with a great friend.

While we were in Rock Springs this weekend, my good friend Kaysi and some of her family happened to be there visiting from Kansas. She saw my sister at church and my sister told her I was here and leaving soon. Kaysi called me and we got to meet up for a little bit at the church and visit. I haven't seen her for so long and thought it would be a very long time before I would see her again. It was great to be able to see them even for a minute. Her little baby Keyne is about 4 months old and so so cute! I'm so glad we got to see eachother! Seeing people in person IS so much better than visiting through phone and blogs!

Rock Springs #1

In Rock Springs...Mckayla had a bath in the sink. We made homemade burnt almond fudge ice cream that was amazing as always. We had fun seeing baby Tahlia. She is so sweet and cute! Josh scared me doing back-flips on the trampoline out back. Not pictured here, we played cash cab (a trivia game show on tv) with the DVR and played Balderdash. Fun memories!

Rock Springs #2

A bunch of us played croquet in the backyard. My dad won and Chandler came in second. It was pretty funny watching everyone. They had a great time.


We colored Mandy's hair and washed it in the sink all old school while Mckayla played with toys in the highchair. Mandy said "aren't I a little big for this?" I said "yeah, but it will be fun". And it was.



We worked hard and made these wonderful steak salad and brazilian lemonade recipes that Mandy had and they were delicious! Also, we watched some movies and visited and played with the babies. All in all we had a wonderful visit!

Rice Cereal

Nana, Josh and Me fed Mckayla her first bites of rice cereal the other night. She love it and ate every bite! She even slept a little better that night. I don't know how she ate it. It tasted like bland on bland with nothing in it. I'm sure it will be better with applesauce in the future.
