Nana, Josh and Me fed Mckayla her first bites of rice cereal the other night. She love it and ate every bite! She even slept a little better that night. I don't know how she ate it. It tasted like bland on bland with nothing in it. I'm sure it will be better with applesauce in the future.
I can't believe that you tried it... I will never try any baby food. I'm glad that she liked it. It seems like I do it for a week and then nothing until real food.
ReplyDeleteIt is so fun when babies start eating. I didn't do rice cereal very long--I switched to baby oatmeal the texture is better--not so gummy, the taste is better. My fav baby cereal is Earth's Best organic oatmeal--it just mixes well--not so lumpy. I also never waited long to introduce other foods--the cereal is much better with fruit and since we don't have family histories with allergies we didn't worry about that too much. It is fun to watch them try new foods.
